Calling all Closeted Cheerleaders!

We have been issued a special invitation to help create a “scene on the street” this Thursday with the P-Jammers, Spokane’s own local alternative marching band.

Hello Ladies,

On behalf of the P-Jammers marching band, I’d like to invite any or all of you to join us for a performance at the Knitting Factory, presented by the Inlander the evening of Thursday, May 27th, 2010.

The show features local musicians. They have asked us to play in the adjoining area outside prior to the show and then enter playing and do a number on stage to kick off the show, which begins at 8 p.m. Our mission is to create a “wild and crazy, fun atmosphere”. I would be interested in adding flag bearers, baton twirlers, dancers, cheerleaders, hula hoopers, bubble blowers, or what have you, to this, and other possible future events.

Please let me know of any interest you may have.

Thanks,

Greg Youmans, P-Jammers Marching Band

Shrinking Violets Birthday Bash Documentary

Many of you participated in our first annual Shrinking Violets Birthday Bash. There were hundreds of people that showed up to join our party featuring local businesses, artists and talent. Frankly, it was a fantastic success.

A special thanks goes to Dominic Spadoni of Community-Minded Television for taking footage and producing a four part documentary about our social co-op!
